Businesses and residents of North Georgia that are lucky enough to be serviced by one of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s (TVA) power distribution network can participate in TVA’s Green Power Producers program.
The program offers a $1,000 rebate to help reduce the cost of the solar installation, and will pay a 12 cent premium over and above your retail electric rate. For example, if you are currently paying $0.10 per kWh for power, your TVA member distributor will pay you $0.22 per kWh for your solar power. Nice!
